I spend a fair bit of my time planning and organising our battles, balancing the sides etc.etc. as well as drawing terrain maps(colouring-in as my wife calls it!!) and devising scenarios: but am I wasting my time with the scenarios and terrain maps??-a few years ago I was approached at a wargames show,by a chap who said his group regularly used my scenarios for their games, and "to keep up the good work". That was a few years ago,and I would be interested to find out if anyone takes note of the scenarios or finds the terrain maps helpful when following the text of the blog,or indeed uses both for their games.
I look forward to any comments: I would like to thank everyone, from all over the world that reads my blog,I find it quite amazing that you all take an interest in a small club like ours.
John,
ReplyDeleteI have always liked your scenarios and maps, granted you clearly went to on autistic map colouring in course, but they are still very colourful, so keep up the good work.
Robbie, thanks for reply(avec sting in the tail!)-glad you like them.

Yes, the maps are really useful and add to the narrative of the game, so keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteHi Mike, good to hear that you find them useful-I'll keep doing them!

I like them - old school, but clear, and a good summary of the point of the game... keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHi Steve-the-wargamer,I'm glad that I've had a few positives,so will continue doing them-"Old School"???-don't know what you mean!!!

I like them! My own gaming time has ceased to exist for the moment, but I have always had a hankering to replay scenarios I've come across on the web, assuming availability of figures. Besides, if you like doing it, why not keep up the good work!?
ReplyDeleteHi Caliban, good to hear from you again, because of the positive response,I will continue until my pen runs dry!!
