I have now finished the 4 "English" regiments I set out to do,and have ordered another 4,which will probably arrive early next week, from Warrior Miniatures.
Two shots of the 4 regiments in a nice line-flags are from "Warflags"(free down-load!)
Two "action" shots, many more to come once the Army is complete. The only thing that lets the figures down is the size of muskets supplied, but for the price you can't complain-I think they are superb!
Very well done! I would agree about the muskets although I am sure they are not too far off.A lot of figures have enormous muskets, almost like anti tank devices.
ReplyDeleteIn fact thinking about it, I am fairly certain I recall seeing drawings of sketches, contemporary with fire arms of these proportions.
Tom Park, who sculpted the masters many years ago, is unlikely I would have said to have made a serious blunder. BTW you got me on it now, I ordered 4 packs as well!
HI James, thanks for your comment-I am "chuffed" with the figures and muskets-i agree that Tom knows what he's about!-glad you are "hooked",this is a fascinating period, and great to game-early colonial springs to mind.cheers.

These look great John and really look 'the business' when lined up for action. Excellent painting—of both sides!
