The "what if" report.

I played this very unusual game, pitting Normans against Koreans on Sunday/Monday,and it proved to be an exciting game...................

The top photo shows the right flank Norman cavalry rushing into combat, and doing very well against the not so heavily armoured Koreans, bottom photo shows the Koreans attacking the village, and also doing very well(due to very bad dice throws!!)

Top shows the central hill being "stormed",after some preliminary skirmishing, and the Normans being forced back-bottom shows a tremendous charge by the left flank Norman cavalry, who made a right old mess of the lighter Korean cavalry!

The right flank Norman cavalry have beaten the Koreans, and the infantry are about to organise themselves for an atack on the Korean infantry-all is lost on this flank!!-but what is happening in the background?

The village has fallen into enemy hands!!-if only the central hill can hold out...............

Nope!!-all of the infantry is lost, but the cavalry have done brilliantly....................

This shows the left flank cavalry chasing the Koreans off the field-the Koreans would report back that the Norman cavalry are hard to beat, but the infantry, after a little softening up with archery,is easily beaten!!-this was a particularly short game(I blame the dice thrower) but nevertheless enjoyable.

I played the first of my 15mm battles last night, and I am still suffering from the after effects-harrowing or what!!!!-a near run thing if ever there was one-report soon.
