Under normal circumstances we would have travelled to Falkirk in May 2020 and stayed in the Beancross travelodge hotel.. enjoy a fantastic show with friends from Falkirk and District Wargames Club
For years we've dined in the Beancross restaurant and enjoyed fabulous service food and hospitality
Where is this going you ask?
Well in August the Beancross pub and adjacent hotels including the Travelodge were flooded after the local stream burst it's banks
Bar/restaurant were closed along with the hotels and still are to this day
and what of the staff?
Im in falkirk having a long arranged stay in lieu of a holiday abroad
No meeting up due to lockdown but a trip away nevertheless
Booking into local restaurant for a meal and approached by the maitre d... how's yer pals ?
Non other than our excellent host from the Beancross restaurant.. newly working and friendly as ever..
Asking about us all and optimistic
Lovely guy despite him still getting over someone's detour via the kitchen... 😄
I think it pays to check on the Kitchens.!!!
