Preview Vikings vs Moors.

My ongoing 25mm Viking campaign has moved into the next phase,pitting the Vikings against the Moors in Spain.The battle,which I will probably play tonight,is against the Ruler of the Balearics,El Murtada,and takes place on the island of Mallorca,in front of the city of Majorca(made up of course!) I thought a small preview might be of interest........................


Top photo is the scenario and terrain map,bottom is the table before any movement.

This is the Viking left flank,with Magnus in position and Bloodnok about to enter the Palm Wood,he may delay his advance until Magnus contacts the Black Guard of El Murtada.


Magnus facing the elite of the Moorish army,in the camp, protecting their Lord and Master,El Murtada.

The Black Guard,protecting El Murtada-well armed,well trained-they will be a match for Magnus' warriors!

I'm looking forward to this game,and hoping the Vikings do well.
