We are a group of like minded enthusiasts who shun formulae wargaming with rules and regulations without knowledge. Our philosophy is one of " if it happened in history it must be able to be replicated on our games".... oh dear sounds pompous, it's simple really old fashioned and enjoyable without long charts and section N para Y allows me to jump your wall by 6 mm ha ha.
I haven’t but most interesting.

Hi Pete, good to hear from you,John Hoult, the owner,is 80 plus years old,and had a difficult time running the business singlehanded-such a nice man to deal with-let's hope Warrior springs back to life!

Warrior were one of the best in the industry.. and the start of many wargaming projects I bought loads and would happily buy more of the ECW, Napoleonic and El Cid/Dark Age ranges again if they came back onto the market on a whim I also bought some wonderful Feudal Poles .. naturally of course I can't find them at the moment !
ReplyDeleteI really do hope they come back to us in some form ...always found John to be a great guy to deal with and they were very attractively priced
I wish him peace ,happiness and good health
Pete
Hi Perkin,well said-fingers crossed!

Wholeheartedly agree, I have several half finished warrior projects glowering at me from the shelves! John is a total gent I live in Glasgow and he used to deliver my figures to the door to save on postage.
ReplyDeleteHow about that for customer service!!
