The Last Valley magic of Andy Worsley
and the WW2 BF109 project.

This started with a 1:48 scale model kit during lockdown. I had an idea for a piece to go onto one of our WW2 games.

Above is the draft idea for the terrain that eventually turned into a more detailed drawing.

Who would be able to turn my scribble into a wargame terrain piece?
Of course Andy Worsley.
Andy supplies fantastic wargaming terrain boards, rivers and vegetation pieces to grace gamers tables.

A quick call and an emailed photo and I left to to it.

I eagerly collecting his work whilst we were at Carronade 2021 at Falkirk and was not disappointed

Fantastic work Andy, thank you!

The following photos show my placements of the crashed BF109.

We just need to have a WW2 1944 Normandy game now Dave!!!

  1. Well done, Paul! You must be very pleased with yourself. Never thought you’d finish the blinkin’ thing! Painting the stitching on the harness… making sure the speedometer shows 0… ;-)
