 On the road t'Hull lad

We had a mission, highly dangerous and not very secret. Why so ?

We had planned a game at a local venue as a consolation for not going to Falkirk's Carronade show this year

In order to have the maximum table size available for our game on the Sunday at the Westerhope Institute (the 'tute), Dave needed to collect additional terrain boards from Andy at Last Valley.

As Dave (the poor lad) still works (yes not all of us are retired) a Saturday dash was called for. It's south we go. Early start and a fast pit stop at Wetherby services the eastwards.

It's that big bridge lad .... we missed the photo opportunity of driving over it in brilliant sunshine. There was me all poised with my camera anticipating photographer of the year awards and he drives under it. Merde!

That's him ... feigning indifference to my artistic bent

After a great chat with Andy and a welcome help to load the cat we headed north again with the goodies

You eagle eyed gamers are correct, not all of the terrain is for Belgian fields, North Africa beckons also.
