Sudanese game 16th Feb. 2025.

5 hardy souls braved the cold of "the garage" and plunged into the blazing sun in the Sudan last night,and it was worth it-blood and thunder all the way! Brian was in command of the Dervish hordes,Dave was the Haddendowah commander,and I was in charge of the Beja.

Top photo shows Brian's advance on the town-he is taking casualties,and did not like it!!! bottom photo shows my Beja and Daves Haddendowah also advancing and also taking casualties-we also did not like it!!!

My Beja are taking a right old pounding,I can't sustain this much longer-come on Dave!!!

Dave's "Fuzzies" are also taking a right old pounding,and to cap it all Paul is massing his cavalry.ready to charge-oh dear!!

Brian's attack is faltering-his cavalry have done well,but he is being shot to hell-what else could go wrong???

Andy has landed his Naval Brigade,and is joining in the fun-we look doomed!!-surely we can have some success..................

Hurrah-contact-will we do well??-NO!!!!-bounced again,but at least we broke into Paul's rather strange formation,and actually inflicted some(not many) casualties-is the game over???

Where have all our troops gone?-most dead,some running away(retiring-it's good being retired!)

Once again this Colonial game was both fast and furious-I love it!!-roll on next Sunday.
